【2022 Gongguan Christmas Season - Campus Arts and Culture Feast】 ◆ Event Date:12/17(Sat)、12/18(Sun) ◆ Venue: Taipei Water Park Fountain Plaza This year, the Taipei Water Park invited six local student orchestras to perform in the Gongguan Christmas Season, gathering the largest number of students and student orchestras to perform in a single venue in recent years. All are welcome to come and experience the hard practice and enthusiasm of students. 🎵 12/17(Sat)Performing Group Introduction (in the order of performance) Nanmen Junior High School Concert Band and String Orchestra|10:30-12:00 Nanmen Junior High School Concert Band was formally established in 2016. It won the first place in the West District of Taipei City Music Competition in the 2020 and 2021 academic years and the top prize in the Taipei City National Music Competition in the 2020 and 2021 academic years. The concert band was qualified to participate in the Taipei City National Music Competition for three consecutive years. This is the fifth year that the Nanmen Junior High School String Orchestra has participated in the Gongguan Christmas Season. What’s more, the school orchestra broke its past record by winning the first place in the West District of the Taipei City Music Competition. Hongdao Junior High School String Orchestra|14:00-15:00 The String Orchestra of Taipei City Hongdao Junior High School, which was only established in 2019, is a young and energetic ensemble with outstanding teachers, an enthusiastic and supportive parent support group. The orchestra won special distinctions for string orchestra in the Taipei City Music Competition in the 2022 academic year. At the same time, under the leadership of the principal, the orchestra has also expanded out of campus to combine local and public service performance activities, so that children can enhance their aesthetic sense, cultivate artistic talent and teamwork through music, and strive for relevant honors together. Zhongzheng Junior High School String Orchestra|16:00-17:00 Since its founding in 1996, the Taipei Municipal Zhongzheng Junior High School String Orchestra has won many accolades in the Taipei City Music Competition and the National Music Competition and has been invited to perform all over Taiwan to high praise. The orchestra has been awarded the National Outstanding Orchestra Group during the National Student Music Competition for six consecutive years, and from 2008, 2012 to 2019, the team has appeared on the international stage of the China Europe International Music Festival in Austria for nine times. 🎵 12/18(Sat)Performing Group Introduction (in the order of performance) Zhiqing Elementary School String Music Club | 13:00 - 13:30 Zhiqing Elementary School String Club is now in its third year since its inception in the 2020 academic year, and every year its members perform with zest at the joint presentation at Taipei Zhongshan Hall, where they always receive enthusiastic applause from the audience. We hope that the music and smiles presented by the Zhiqing Elementary School String Music Club will bring the most unforgettable memories to the guests on stage this Christmas. Da’an Junior High School String Orchestra | 14:00 - 15:00 In its twenty-first year of existence, the Da’an Junior High School String Orchestra has achieved outstanding results in various music competitions and performances. For ten years in a row, the Da’an Junior High School String Orchestra has been awarded the "Special Distinction" in national student competitions and in five of those years, the orchestra has achieved the highest score. The group is actively involved in various charity performances, hoping to give back to the community through music. Taipei First Girls High School String Orchestra | 15:30 - 16:30 It has been 36 years since the founding of the Taipei First Girls High School String Orchestra, which has represented the school in various activities and competitions. Recently, under the leadership of instructor Hsiang-Yu Liu, the orchestra won the second place in the West Region of the Taipei City Music Competition and will advance to the National Competition next March with even more brilliant performances.
