The 2025 Gongguan Christmas Season will enchant visitors at Taipei Water Park starting this Saturday! This year’s theme, “Winter Reverie,” will fill the Park with vibrant floral displays, sparkling holiday lights, and Christmas-themed character installations from November 29 to December 31 (closed on Mondays), from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to Christmas decorations at the century-old Museum of Drinking Water, this year’s celebration features a special collaboration with the Taipei City Government’s designated Christmas and New Year IP, “Snoopy.” Playful by day and dreamlike by night, Snoopy will accompany citizens throughout the festive season.

According to the Taipei Water Department, this year’s highlights include a 10-meter Christmas tree, a 3-meter Snoopy inflatable, and a character-themed garden spread across the Park. Admission is free on opening day November 29 (Saturday). The Department will also give away 300 cups of hot beverages (black coffee and milk tea) at scheduled times. Multiple buskers will perform throughout the day, and the Taipei Public Library’s mobile library will be on-site, creating a warm and joyful Christmas atmosphere filled with music, reading, and festive displays.

The Taipei Water Department noted that this is the first year the event incorporates the City’s official holiday IP, “Snoopy,” inviting visitors to take photos with the beloved character. A Christmas Season stamp collection activity will also be available, and guests who complete three stamps may redeem an exclusive small gift. Visitors who enjoy cultural exploration may register for the “Taipei Good Water Exploration Tour - Guanyinshan Reservoir” Christmas guided tour and receive a Christmas gift as well. During the event period, those who shop in the Gongguan shopping district and upload a photo of their purchase can enter a prize draw, with prizes including gaming consoles, headphones, air fryers, and more, ensuring a delightful holiday experience for all.
