The Christmas Concert, the signature event of the “Winter Fantasia” series, took place today (Dec 21) as part of the Gongguan Christmas Season at Taipei Water Park. Performers including the MOMO Family, Professor Shu-Han Yeh, and the National Taiwan Normal University Wind Band and Choir joined citizens of all ages, along with various Snoopy-themed inflatable displays throughout the park, to celebrate the festive season early through timeless and uplifting music.

The Taipei Water Department stated that the evening’s musical celebration brought together City Councilor Kuo Chao-Yen, local borough heads, heads of business associations, and distinguished guests, who joined the public in enjoying lively sing-along and dance performances by the MOMO Family, as well as the grand and resonant works performed by the NTNU Wind Band and Choir under the direction of Professor Shu-Han Yeh. In addition to the performances, the venue featured popular snacks and specialty stalls from the Gongguan Night Market. The park also prepared warm beverages and interactive activities, such as exchanging completed tasks for tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), creating a warm and festive atmosphere despite the winter chill. By 6:30 p.m., the event had already attracted more than 6,500 visitors celebrating Christmas together.

The Taipei Water Department further noted that the Gongguan Christmas Season activities will continue until December 31, offering various decorative light displays and a series of events to accompany citizens and friends through the Christmas and year-end season.
